This fine silver shell has been handcrafted from PMC (precious metal clay). The mold is from an actual shell. The mold is then painted with a PMC slip (a liquid form of precious metal clay) in layers to build up the shell. Once fired in the kiln what is left is a .999 fine silver piece. A hand wrapped ivory freshwater pearl complements the silver shell on an exquisite sterling silver chain. 18".
